SUMMARY:Right Livelihood College Lecture and Sustainability Academy
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Right Livelihood College (RLC) campus at the University of Port Harcourt\, Health of Mother Earth Foundation will host the 2019 RLC Lecture and Sustainability Academy. This year’s event is themed ‘Environmental Rights Denial\, Human Rights Abuses and Systemic Orchestration of Conflicts’.  The events will take place at theCentre for Conflicts and Gender Studies\, University of Port Harcourt\, May 28 -29\, 2019.Right Livelihood Award laureates Ruth Rasomana (India)\, Bill McKibben (USA)\, Raul Montenegro (Argentina) and Nnimmo Bassey (Nigeria) will speak on the relationship between environmental rights denial\, human rights abuses and systemic orchestration of conflicts. The lectures will be followed by a session of Sustainability Academy on the same theme.
