Biosafety Conference, 2020

A major biosafety conference will hold in March 2020 in the city of Abuja with various stakeholders including farmers, researchers, civil society organisations, faith based organisations, legal practitioners, law makers, academics and the media. Focus will be on Nigeria’s Food and Farming System; the regulation of agricultural biotechnology and other emerging technologies and their implications. The conference will chart the way forward for food sovereignty and sustain-able solutions for the food and climate challenges.
