Media training on Environmental Reporting

The media set the agenda for public discourse under certain circumstances and provide information that helps the masses make informed decisions and join in taking crucial actions. With the various environmental issues that are challenging the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large, the continent of Africa and the world at large, how well are the media spreading the narratives, stories and reports that can help enforce and re-enforce the right actions to help bring about the change needed? What are the identified challenges for environmental reporting by mainstream and new media? These are some of the issues that the media training hopes to address.
