School of Ecology — Climate & Power Alternatives
May 18 @ 8:00 am - May 22 @ 5:00 pm
The School of Ecology (SoE) is a part of HOMEF’s IKIKE, a knowledge space for the interrogation of concepts, policies and actions on various issues, ranging from environmental/climate justice, agriculture, re-source governance and overall socio-ecological transformation. Ikike anchors on our reasoning power, our intellect and our rights.
This SoE will interrogate power alternatives in the context of climate change and the persistent dependence on fossil fuels. The meetings will aim to bring up alternatives to fossil fuels and inspire communities to see themselves as climate actors demanding an end to dirty energy and accompanying environmental degradation.
